That's exactly what I did. Finally got mine out to the range. Put 45 total rounds through it before my shoulder decided to cry uncle - lol. 10 rounds of slugs, 20 rounds of 00 and 15 rounds of 7 1/2 shot. What a great experience. Definitely turned a few heads at the range.

Lucky man! I've been searching all over for an M4. Looks like a lot of fun at the range.

YES, That is exactly what tactical situation homeowners have, and why the M4 is really top of the line for simple home defense.

After lots of looking, and trials with other shotguns, I finally settled several years ago on the M4. Slug accuracy is amazing. Delightful to shoot with every round I have tried so far down to birdshot. The user interface was originally a little confusing since it is different than other shotguns, but easy to use when I became familiar with it.

After I saw mine, one in great almost undired condition came up at Canyon in Martinez that just sat and sat on the used rack at $1300. sorry I passed on getting a second one.

              Quick question for M4 owners...

Can the M4 be kept cruiser ready? I prefer to not have a round chambered for HD shotguns so I'm wondering if you can have it in that condition and how you get a round chambered if you needed to use it. I've never handled or operated the M4 so please educate me. Thanks
