Jailed a Benelli M4...

I'm only 5'9 so the OEM stock is a bit long, not too bad that it hinders operation, but a shorter stock would def. make it more handy.

I'm in no rush to switch it out to a Mesa Urbino though, I feel like the M4 is so good as is theres no impulse to make changes.

The factory stock is seen by many as too long. Sounds like it's not a problem for you. The Urbino can also be had with the adjustable cheek piece, and Limbsaver recoil pad.

BTW, the slip-on Limbsaver recoil pad fits onto the M4 stocks perfectly. That's what we were using on my friend's M4.

Urbino stock counts as one of your 922r parts. The 2+ extensions don't, so get the full length tube. There's not really any "gunsmithing" involved in exchanging the tubes...you just a heat gun or something to warm up the factory loctite so you can screw off the factory tube.

These shotty's are worth every penny. They shoot everything and recoil feels like the "boom-ball" guns that burp out the racquetballs at the kid's arcades. It is one of my favorite guns of all.

I bought my M4 in late December on GunBroker for $1,629, free shipping and no CC fees. Yes, new. The dealer was Northern Firearms & it wasn't my first transaction with them.

They never take pics of the actual gun for sale, so some may have an issue with that. Mine showed up in perfect condition, yet to be assembled, in original box.

I will add - shipping was much slower this time than last - most likely due to volume.

Real happy with mine. Never shoot my Mossbergs or Rems anymore. Just really enjoy the ease and speed of the M4.

Shot 150 rounds through it, ran great. Shot low recoil slugs and some 00 buck. Kick is tolerable, but bigger magazine is a must... Lots of reloading.

Anyone seen one of these M4's in stock at any shops in the Bay Area, (East Bay preferred), at normal prices? The three shops near me (Pleasant Hill, Martinez) don't have any.
