Fools are born everyday. A quality overpriced is still a quality AR and worth it . A KSG while it may be nice is not worth more than a discounted price same with Glock and XD. Plastic shouldn't be purchased for list price and especially not over list price.

The KSG....?

They are bulky, clunky, impractical things that are "cool" because they are different. I've handled a few of them and would not pay more than $350 for one new.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

When it was announced at Shot 2011 (or was it 2010?) Kel-Tec said it would be in the $700 range MSRP. I've seen them being offered for more than $2k. At $700 I would think about it, but not at current prices. Figure in KT's track record in customer service, hell no.Comment

Even in the free states the KSG is hard to find, and the ones you do see are way overpriced. Kel-tec seems to be primarily a plastic compact pistol company and they make mainly the PF-9 and P-11 pistols for concealed carry. They seem to treat their other firearms as a side business and not too serious about making them. For $1600 or even $800, you can buy a much better shotgun than the KSG.Comment

If the KSG was semi-auto, I would consider paying $800 for one.
No way in hell I'd pay $1600 for a pump gun when I could buy a standard M2 Tactical plus a case of shells for the same price.Comment

But on Black Ops 2 the KSG is the only shotgun with slugs that snipes people from a distance...Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.Comment

Not quite. They have rifles too: RFB, the 308 bull pup and the SU-16 series. There are also the pistol caliber carbines. They are good at coming up with new ideas but too small to meet mass demand and provide the support needed.Even in the free states the KSG is hard to find, and the ones you do see are way overpriced. Actually there is another gun. It's the UTAS UTS-15. Same concept, separate tube mags. It's a bit bigger than the ksg, but the design seems better. Atlantic firearms has em for 1200$ I think."I am become death, destroyer of worlds"Comment
