    Triple B This Wed @ 7 PM

Open invitation to shoot a couple of rounds of skeet. Myself and GunninIt (with his Dad) will be at Triple B's this Wed at 7:00 PM. This is very much informal and will be using the public fields. If you're interested in stopping by respond below, but try not to flake out.

Prices listed above. As for the 500, as long as the barrel is over 22", should be fine. I can't bring the one shotgun I really want to try, but I might be up for after-work Wednesday.

Come on down, especially since you live in S. El Monte and can be there in about 5 min. What you need:

              Shotgun
Safety Glasses (don't use your sunglasses since we'll be shooting at dusk, night)
              Ear Plugs
$20 for key deposit (you get it back once you're done)
$9 times how many games you want to play. My guess is that we'll be shooting between 3-5 games, but its up to you how many you want to play.

If you've never shot at Triple B be prepared to take a firearm safety quiz. It's mostly common sense and you should pass it.

Don't be discouraged if you miss a lot I read that the average person who is complete noob gets 11 birds the first time out.

Afterwards, if you enjoyed shooting the game and want to get good at it, take the Skeet Clinic. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=329160 Gunninit and I take the clinics so it's not by coincidence that we're pretty good.

Do you know if triple b lets you share guns? I think i saw a sign that says no but i dont know if its enforced.

Or does anyone have an extra gun to borrow?

I'm trying to go for tomorrow, but it really depends on how my shoulder feels. I have a spare, but you'll have to get shells for it.

Again noob question. Do we need to buy shells their or bring? What shells are best for skeet?

They don't really check. If I knew who you were I would let you borrow one, but I don't share firearms with strangers I meet on the internet. Not trying to be an a-hole, I just don't feel comfortable doing it.

You can buy there or bring your own. Shot size needs to be 7.5 or bigger (8, 9). If you buy at Triple B's you'll be paying $7.50 per box. I would recommend you go to walmart and buy a 4 pack (100 rounds) for $25. This is the cheapest you'll find it. Closest Walmart that sells ammo is in Azusa from S. El Monte. If you can't make it to walmart, Big 5 usually a box of shells for $6.

^^ No worries! I completely understand. I was looking to get one for my brother, but hes going to be in class tomorrow. Weve attended Ziegler's class a few times, thats got to give us some credibility right?

If I can get out of work early I'll defeinitely head out.

If any of you maybes turns into a YES by 5:00 PM, please post here so we have a good idea of who will actually be there.

Just for ease of meeting up, let's all meet at Skeet Range 10 (the Calguns Range ). Be aware that there may be people shooting at that range already, so we'll just be staging outside the fence. 7:00 PM. Those that need ammo or to sign-up/get keys/add targets can do so when they get there.

Keep in mind, for those of you that may need a shotgun, Triple B does rent guns. They're $20, IIRC. You have to use their ammo (which is seems you were going to purchase anyway). You're able to rent either an O/U or a semi-auto.

As epic said, you'll need these things as well: safety glasses (don't use your sunglasses since we'll be shooting at dusk, night) and ear plugs. Both are available at Triple B. That said, the more you need from Triple B, the more expensive your night will be.

As Coach and Richard would say, we're out there to be social and have fun. We're not competing. WE ARE VERY SAFE. See those of you that can make it tonight.
