All manufacturers are required to stamp the caliber/gauge on any firearm that they produce. It's on there someplace, taking the forearm off takes 2 seconds.
The easiest way to check is take a 1/2 wide ruler and slide it into the chamber until it stops.Frank

The chambering should be on the barrel. Look very carefully, its there!!! If by chance it really isn't there then it might've been reblued and the words polished off.Wanna learn to shoot SKEET? I am here to introduce all shooters to the sport of SKEET Shooting ....

Love my Red Label, but it is a clays gun, why would anyone want to punish their shoulder by shooting 3" shells? Save those for the HD Remington 870 or if you are going Goose hunting.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer
