Lever action shotguns,
What's the consensus on these, just curious about them for HD and a range toy.
Are they ca legal? What's a few reasonably priced manufacturers?
I've done some research, but I feel if get faster responses in here

Yes. None.

CA legal? Yes, so long as they meet minimum barrel length (>18 inches) and overall length (> 26 inches)

The only manufacturers I am aware of are:

* Norinco (China) and I don't know if those are still coming into the country or not.

* Chiappa, which I believe are being made in Italy.

The Norinco is likely less expensive than the Chiappa, but it'd still probably way more than a basic (and thoroughly modern) Mossberg or Remington pump.

Lmfap although I DO know what your talking about, I'm more thinking I want a lever action shotgun to accompany my (soon to be) newly acquired lever 30-30.
That and the terminator factor. Lol
Plus you never hear or see anything about them and am just wondering more and more about them.

The Winchester 9410 came is a couple of flavors. The Ranger series are fixed chokes (cylinder I believe) and the higher one (forgot the name) have choke tubes. Not C&R ... Marlin also made a modern version of the 336 in 410 if I remember correctly! Not C&R either ...

Winchester Model 1887 (1887-1901)
It was available in 10Gauge (blackpowder) & 12Gauge (blackpowder).

Winchester Model 1901 (1901-1920)
It was available in 10Gauge (smokeless powder).

I believe that's what I was thinking of. I heard that the Cowboy Competion shooters like them.

You could consider one of the (I think) Uberti repros of the 1886 imported by Cimarron. I have a Cimarron Uberti revolver, and the fit and finish is far better than one of the Beretta Ubertis.
