You can order American Made tubes off of Tom Knapps website. If you dont know who Tom is..you shouldnt be shooting Benellis. His website can be reached thru Benelli's factory webpage. Around 80 bucks i think he charges. You can even ask him direct questions in his forum and he will answer you back. It is awesome to be able to talk directly to the Benelli man!

I don't know if you were responding to the OP or to my post, but it appears that the ones you are talking about are just the factory extension tubes and not the base part of the tube. I haven't seen any source for the lower part of the tube from any manufacturer. If what Gose says is true, we'll need an American made version of it.

Not sure what you mean about the "base part of the tube." I ordered some from Tom Knapp for my 20g Benelli Nova Pumps last year. They came with all the parts I needed to attach them to my Benelli.

        Pics of the installation project.

My story about Tom talking my ear off.

EDIT: perhaps we're talking two different animals. My understanding is that the parts count only applies to semi-autos. These tubes are for the Nova pump shotguns. Will they also work on a semi-auto Benelli?

DOUBLE EDIT: okay, I just realized that's an M2 shown above in the pic. I got Novas on the brain, sorry.

Sorry for the confusion, Gose and I are threadjacking a bit talking about the 922r problems with Benelli semi-autos while the OP is asking about a pump.

I've never used one of their pumps so I don't know if the tube is one piece or two.

On the M1S90 semi-auto, the mag tube is in two parts, the base piece that comes off of the receiver which looks fairly permanently attached and the extension tube the screws to the end of that and also holds the barrel on.

I'm not sure about as not being particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes." mean???

My m1 is a field gun so that makes it a sporter in my book.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Clearly the suits have a very different opinion about what is sporting than we do! Too bad their opinion goes, huh?

If you want to remove the base tube just heat the receiver with a propane torch. Grab it with gloves and grap the tube and twist. They come off real easy.

I have seen about 4 differnt letters for the benelli M4, some have 2 parts some have up to 5. No one seems to know anything. Here is a letter I found on another fourm. Lots of FUD out there. Tired of reading threads that say you can and cant. No on really seems to know. Including several ATF agents.

This letter shows two parts mag and follower. Tom knapp shoots his semi auto all the time. Wonder what his secret is.

I seriously think the ATF keeps everyone misinformed so that a)they never have to come up with a solid answer b)have to actually understand the dumb laws they are trying to enforce. It's a great way to keep the populace of balance. What a neat job they have...
