    Extended mag for my Benelli?

If I remember correctly, there's a 10-round mag extender for my Benelli Nova Pump. Apparently they're impossible to find. A local gun store said they had an 8-round extender, but of course if 8 rounds are good then 10 are better. Anyone know good places to snoop?

Towards the bottom on the extension page, there's one made for the Nova. They are American made, which is cool for semi-auto owners looking to lower foreign part counts. I have one of these and a real Benelli one. I wish I could use the Benelli one.

^thanks! so which one do I want? Does the Benelli actually hold 10 rounds?

*edit* I think I figured it out. Sweet, I can make my pump hold 10 + 1

Won't that make the mag tube stick way out in front of the muzzle? I suppose as long as it doesn't get nailed by the shot coming out...

mine has a really long barrel, by the look of it another 16" of mag extender would end up just a couple inches past the muzzle. I don't even know if my shoulder could take 10 rounds all in sequence

I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

I have a Benelli extension for my Nova. I picked it off eBay for fairly cheap early in 2007. The reason it was cheap was that it was the camo finish, whereas most Novas (including mine) are the standard black color.

One consideration with the magazine extension is that you no longer use the magazine cap that came with the gun. I really like that cap as it is the only takedown tool you need with the Nova.

Convenience in swapping barrels is also reduced. You now have to fuss with the barrel-to-mag extension bracket. It's only another screw to deal with but on my slug barrel I have to position the bracket correctly to get it past the front sight mount.

Grab a Benelli recoil reducer if you shoot a lot of heavy loads. With slugs, my Nova kicked like a mule. She is much more manageable with the reducer.

^ I don't have the recoil reducer in mine, I'm just getting into the world of firearms, only been skeet shooting a couple times (but man what a fun sport!!) and otherwise just been out to the desert ranges blasting away at innocent pumpkins and cans and such. I know the smart thing to do would just be to leave the gun alone and shoot it, I just think it would be cool to go terminator style and have a ton of rounds at my disposal

Wait until you see some of the open shooters with their 12 round tubes on a benelli.
They stick 6" past the muzzle.
They get powder burns, but the wad keeps the shot away from the tube as the shot stays with the wad for the first couple yards out of the barrel.

The extension does NOT count as a "part", so it doesn't matter if you're using a US or a foreign made one.
You have to replace the WHOLE tube for it to count...

For a pump it doesn't matter though, put on whatever extension you want

My tube sticks out about 1.5", and it gets dirty, but can easily be wiped off. (And yes, I have a US made tube and a US made follower making it 922(r) compliant )

gose, is that a 18.5" barrel with a rib? Where did you get that? My M2 has a "field" barrel (26" or 28", can't remembeR) with a rib and "tactical" barrel with rifle sights.

Looks like a 21" VR Barrel and a lightened bolt carrier. From the looks of it that gun was done by Benney Hill. Just a guess

That is correct, sir. It's a 21" "Benny Benelli"

I'd like to see a letter from the ATF clearing up this particular question. I understand you point, but the base part of the tube does not appear readily changeable.
However, if that's the case, where do you get the base part of the tube that is US made? How do you remove the original from the receiver?
