    Rebluing

Can anyone recommend someone in Northern California/Bay Area who can professionally reblue my 1967 Browning A5 20 gauge? I'm in Solano County.

    Thanks

got them bookmarked; heard good things about them, but no firsthand experience.

I've used them twice, only one word can describe their work: Flawless

This is a recent purchase. It's a 1967 3" magnum with a very low serial number. Overall it's in very good condition. There a couple of areas behind the trigger and the thin metal strip at the top of stock where it meets the wood. I proposed rebluing to keep rust from occurring. Otherwise it's a beautiful shotgun. I'm debating picking up a matching 1967 A5 12 gauge for $500 that's in even better condition than the 20 gauge.

                Your thoughts?

Just keep a light coat of oil on the gun and you will not have a problem. wipe with an oiled cloth after handling

As far as the 12.....not enough info to give a good option. However 500 is a safe price to pay for a decent A-5 12ga.

Post some pics of the 20....take some close ups of the barrel markings
