I played with the HF light and it is not bad at all. And it is a knock off of the Streamlight TRL1 light that I had leftover from a pistol, I replaced it with a smaller and brighter TRL7. But I took the TLR 1 and put it on my 1301 Mod 2 and it is perfect, except for a slight bit of barrel shadow on the left outer rim, which is dim to begin with. I don't need a tape switch, I can easily access the on/off switch with my index finger of my support hand on the handguard. It is rail mounted on a short picatinny adapter mounted on an M-Lok. A bonus- I can remove it in 5 seconds, same with putting it back on.

A bit large for a compact or subcompact pistol but perfect size for a shotgun. It has the regular on off, pulse and strobe. Construction is rugged. I bought two and compared to my MUCH more expensive Streamlights, these HF Braun Weapons Lights are pretty damn nice. They have some in stock at the Simi Valley HF if that's near you at all?

i’m gonna take a chance on one of these. I’ve been looking for a light for one of my handguns. This looks almost exactly like my TLR one.

Bet you'll like it. I hope HF expands their other models and makes some other good clones.

I am quite happy with my Streamlight for my 870. This one here for the 590.

Yes a $100 TLR7 with a Laser would be very cool. I have a Streamlight TLR7 on my HD shotgun and it has the switch for the laser turned on so when you turn the light on the laser comes on too.

It is also sighted in so if you're covered expect some shot coming next.

The reason why I put all my Weapons Lights on the Bottom of the Fore End is so there is no shadow obscuring the Front Sight. My HD gun has a Solid Front Sight (no FO) with the Light mounted on the bottom I get a perfect Illumination of the Front Sight (no shadows) so I can actually use it to aim the gun if the Laser quits? .

Have a look at GG&G I run a couple of their Mossberg 500 Looped Sling And Flashlight Combo Mounts on my Mossberg Maverick 88 Security and Folder models.
