I put those sights on my Rem 870, and I am VERY happy with them. With a cyl bore, using slubs able to hit the X ring with no problems out to 75 yards.

Bead is still the quickest for sight acquisition inside a home IMO. a FO front sight would be nice too. Ghost rings and rifle sights take "some" time to line up, not a lot of time... but still aren't as quick to acquire as a single bead or FO.

IMO the best HD shotgun addon is a surefire/insight light, installed on the fore end or next to it. The sights are secondary IMO in that a bead works very well. I have both the bead and Scattergun Tech. peep/tritium post.

If you get a Surefire Weapons light you will have to cut off the bayo lug if your 590 has one. otherwise it won't fit.

I think if I owned a shotgun with a bayonet lug that I would get rid of the bayonet lug because it's more apt to snag on stuff than actually serve a purpose.
