    I wasn't precise enough above.

    1. Non LEO's can not import a magazine that holds more than 10 rounds of its intended caliber of ammunition.

    2. It's not clear whether one can import a rifle or shotgun that is not an AW and isn't a rifle with a tubular magazine that can otherwise hold more than 10 rounds. One interpretation of the law would say that a pump action shotgun with an 11 round magazine would be a large-capacity magazine and thus illegal to import.

      Thanks, Peeps answered my Q, it was more about aesthetics than capacity, I just failed to put together that a shotgun shell has a larger diameter than a rifle round and would thus get my "silhouette" without being of questionable legality.
