New or used? If $350 was a second hand price I'd say that's a bit high. For new in the box it's an okay price.

Their "Cruiser" model normally comes with a pistol grip. The "Persuader" is the same gun but with a standard stock which is what this looks like. They make "Cruiser/Persuader" models that come with both the pistol grip and the regular stock.

I wasn't aware that they were shipping any 500s with a heat shield over the barrel, I thought those were OEM on the 590 only.

That little loop on the front end of the barrel nut under the muzzle, is for hanging a sling swivel onto. I don't see a stud on the underside of the stock, but there should be a hole to screw a stud into. With one of those in place you can mount a sling easily. There are many other sling options out there. Others will chime in, I'm sure, with options.

thankx. its new in box. yea i know the heat shield on it made me wonder even more. at first when i saw in on the wall i thought 590 all the way. sales guy said nope its a 500A. tactical.

so goole search i did and found a 590 on impactguns is a similar configuration. but nothing like what i have with shield and full lenth stock.

I believe a cruiser has a 5 shot tube 18.5 inch barrel, persuader has a 7, 20 in. barrel. Mne came with a heat sheild and knoxx pistol grip from the factory. recently removed the heat shield, wish I hadnt. them suckers get hot quick.

First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.

Mossberg is actually cataloging / marketing them in both barrel lengths these days. The differentiation between Cruiser and Persuader is pistol grip vs. full stock.

Factory heat shield not on a 590... another variation!!!!

a lefty shooting a R H shotgun is a good thing. Your tac reloads from a side saddle will be easier, and the slug change over drill will be also.

Nice mossy. I just DROS'd one just now. Now the longest wait starts. Hasn't even passed my 1st day jail and I'm already looking to buy accessories for it. Will be picking up a MT telescoping LEO stock today.

Question, those who's got this MT stock kit would you guys recommend the recoil reduction kit or will the regular stock kit suffice? Gun will mainly be a HD weapon, plus few range trips. Maybe some hunting here and there since it also came with the 28" VR barrel.
