Not to threadcap but I inherited (in trust for my son) the first gun my father-in-law ever bought - a 1950 16-guage Remington 870 Wingmaster.

The original stock was cut down, and the bluing isn't great. Can I buy a barrel with remchoke or other chokes??? Perhaps with a vent rib?

stock should be pretty straight forward I think
but the barrel will be the hard part Im thinking
Remchoke came along in the 1980's kinda after 16ga saw its peek

but I would call Remington to see what they would have to say
      maybe new old stock
