For clays I'd go with the Browning Citori SCE. I believe the Beretta 686E has an auto safety, please verify! With an auto safety on a sporting field (Sporting clays, skeet, trap). You are bound to forget to disengage the damn thing, especially right when you are running the birds w/o a miss!
If the Beretta doesn't have an auto safety then both would depends on fit.Wanna learn to shoot SKEET? I am here to introduce all shooters to the sport of SKEET Shooting ....

When I purchased my 686.. I had the auto safety removed... My target guns do not have this feature so I knew it would mess me up... The auto safety is not a deal killer as it is easily removed..For clays I'd go with the Browning Citori SCE. I believe the Beretta 686E has an auto safety, please verify! I have absolutely nothing against Brownings as I own one but in general the Beretta guns tend fit me better out of the box...Last edited by .300 Weatherby Mag; 04-27-2012, 11:56 PM.sigpicComment
