My Remington 1100 Skeet (2 3/4 only) absolutely refuses to cycle loads lower than 3 Dram 1 1/8 oz 12 gauge loads... The gas ports and action are spotless and it has a new O-ring installed... The gun has around 1500 rounds through it and it has never cycled 1 oz loads even the 3 dram variety... I've tried different varieties of 1 oz loads to no avail... Is this normal??
Also, even starting with a clean gun and 1 1/8 oz 3 dram Winchester AA factory loads I lose reliability around 150 rounds and start having cycling problems... Again, is this normal as well??
A little history on the gun.. It was manufactured in 1981, purchased by my grandfather and then never fired until I got it from him in 2000.. So I know that its never been abused or been subjected to heavy loads..
My 390 Beretta will digest almost anything and run for quite a long time, so this gun is very frustrating!!!
