Wow a 33% increase just like that huh. That really sucks. Did current members need to cough up another $50 to keep their memberships? Why do you say better to wait?

You get no R until #101

Also, I love 3Bs but for me, Prado is equidistant and $6.50 for everybody. A more limited facility but hey, if it saves $40/$50 a month, I turn east.

I actually thought about of putting "Break Even Analysis" instead of ROI, but since this isnt a financial forum I didn't think most people would notice/care. Good catch.

You forgot to apply the discount rate. Unlikely if you hit 100 towards the end of year you are at a positive ROI until you are several rounds past 101

Limited as in less fields & no sporting clays, right? I haven't shot there in a long time even though I live close to it. Never been on the shotgun side of things.

Since I'm a new member I got a question about the Private Fields for all of those long time members.

I called the pro shop and the lady stated that nothing is reserved and its a first come first serve basis to get on a field with a minimum of 4 shooters.

Is it possible to get a fields on the weekend or are there a bunch of old timers using up all the fields?

Can you treat the private fields as an "extension" of the public fields. If other members are shooting on a field can you just put shotgun on the gun rack and go next.

I guess I'm just trying to figure out the "unwritten rules" for the private fields.

Membership, $200.00 divided by 6.50 = 31 rounds: 10% discount on some merchandise
                Non membership, $200.00 divided 8.50 = 24 rounds.

My Senior membership, $100.00 divided 6.50 = 16 rounds; 10% discount same as above.

I'm not a member because I shoot sporting clays at all three clubs in So Cal: Triple B, Raahauge's, and Moore & Moore.

Since trap and skeet are set up the same at every t&s club in America, it doesn't pay to go to different clubs. Sporting clays is like golf with a shotgun. Every sporting clays course in the world is set up differently.

You guys should give it a try sometime.

I really like Prado! I've been shooting a lot of skeet with some really nice guys there and I've never has any trouble showing up and shooting with whatever group is there. many times during the week, there is next to nobody there.
