I'm planning on buying one when they get around $700. Hoping for Christmas, but it's not that big of a deal. So many others to buy while others concentrate on the KSG.

Has anyone here seen the pictures of the lower rail failure on the KSG fore-end? It appears that the plastic rail can not stand the load put on it by a vertical grip. discussion on the failure http://www.thektog.org/forum/showthread.php?t=246599 pictures of the failure...

I thought I saw one on 'Fringe' last night, with their yr. 2036 episode..

The P90 was easy enough to identify, but the JBT next to him really looked like he had a KSG.

I saw one at Canyon Sports in Martinez on Saturday. It looks neat but I won't waste my moneys on one.

I've had mine for about a month now and haven't decided if I want to keep it or sell it. NIB OD Green/Black. They're extremely rare, but they're out there. It's light and short as hell. I shot my buddy's and it definitely lives up to its hype.

Actually, it was a UTS-15, which is supposed to be coming out soon. It will cost more, but it looks to be a slightly better design and build quality.

The UTS is very interesting. It sucks, like all bull pup designs, if you are a lefty.

                        I stand corrected.

I was referring to the more standard bull pup designs.

At the rate Kel Tec is filling orders, I'd imagine the KSG will remain in the $1,500 range for a few more years. If the UTS-15 could flood the market, the KSG would have to fall in price. But I don't see that happening because the UTS looks FRIKKEN HUGE! If the wind is blowing you'll fall over. Yeah, it's only 7.2 pounds, but it has the same surface area as a mainsail. The KSG is more than a quarter pound lighter and an inch shorter in length. But it looks as if it's a foot shorter in height than that damn UTS.

What I want is someone like Benelli or Mossberg to make a KSG knockoff in semi-auto. Hell, I would pay $1,500 for something like that and not feel ripped off at all.

The FN FS2000 ejects out the front also. And the push button mag release on the bottom is lefty friendly!
