dude, I got this baby for $270 and it came with two barrels. I bet you can find one used for the same price in the classified.

I want a over/under for skeet and a benelli M4 or some other autoloader for 3-gun. I'm not in a rush to buy it. Must graduate and find a job first, then come the toys.

Delayed gratification is not one of my strong points, but I'm working on it.


My buddy has a mossberg. He somehow locked up the action completely while trying to swap barrels. It isn't common but it can happen so you might want to look into it. Sorry I don't have more details about it.

Great Choice!! I have the Mossberg 500 and it also came with two barrels. Besides my AR it is my favorite firearms to shoot. Don't get to too often though I keep it with the parentals in their safe.

Tell your buddy to remove the barrel and then remove the trigger group. With those two items removed there should be nothing to for the bolt to lock on to.
My guess it has something to do with the slide release lever.

He had it fixed already. He went skeet shooting and someone at the range just helped him out. +1 to the shooting community.

As for your suggestion, it sounds like what he had to do.
