    beretta 3901 vs rem 11-87

    Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a new shotgun, I am set on a semi auto 12g around $600
The two I have been looking at really close is the beretta 3901 and a remington 11-87
This shotgun will be an all around gun for everything from trap to pigeons to dove everything pretty much except HD. I was wondering if anyone has any experience or advice on which shotgun to go with or any suggestions on a different shotgun.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't have a 3901 but have a 390 and have a 11/87. Both are good guns, it should come down to which one fits you better!

I have an 11-87 and my brother has a 3901. If I could have either, I'd take the 11-87. I've never had it jam or give me any problems, and it has done pheasant season, goose season, duck season, dove season, trap, and on and on and on. It just won't quit. The thing I like is that the heavier steel receiver really soaks up the recoil. I find that to be particularly nice during goose season.

You can't go wrong with either.

Agree completely with bjl333. I have a 3901 and happy with it.
