    Oops...

    Accidentally bought 3" 00 Buck instead of 2 3/4"..

My Benelli M4 can accept these rounds right? I bought these for defense.

Are there any differences between the two length rounds?

The magazine capacity on the M4 is 5+1 with the shorter shells.

So maybe -1 round capacity for the 3"?

M4 can use 12 ga. shells with 2" 3/4 or 3" cases. Page 43 of your owners manual.

Just a bit more lead, a bit more propellant, and a bit more recoil.

Does it indicate shell length on your barrel, i.e. my Beretta says "2 3/4 and 3 inch"?

The recoil is higher for sure, but the M4 will digest it just fine.
