My A5 is only 81 (It's a 1930 model) but I agree completely. I bought it after the original owner died, and he'd had it since being a kid.

Hell, when I bought it, it looked as if the recoil mechanism was backwards, so effectively not functioning. Had never been cleaned. And yet the gun is 100% reliable...

So, use that as a benchmark for the modern autoloaders hehehe
This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.

wish I had some video to post. I use a winchester 1300. I am not a pro thats for sure, when shooting trap and skeet I start off with one round chambered, fire that round then grab a second round off the table or belt & combat load the second round and can get the second clay before it hits the ground.

In no way shape or form am I faster than a pro, I practice combat style shooting and loading. i.e short sticking, combat loading ect.

I am fairly new to shooting I have some excellent teachers that have helped me a ton. So I would love to try a timed shotgun race. As far as just firing rounds as fast a possible I can keep up with my friends m4 but it takes some work.

      cheers.

Mossberg 930 SPX. Or, if you want to spend a little more, Saiga 12, fully converted. It is by far my favorite gun to shoot, low recoil, AK reliability, very cool looking.

          +1

For all the press Benelli, FN and Remington get for their semi-autos, the 930 is probably a best buy.

As for refinement - it can all be further refined with gunsmithing if you really want to. Some you can do yourself, some should be done by a qualified gunsmith, all of it is pretty inexpensive if you do what matters and avoid silly stuff.

SSSSHHHHHHHH!!! Don't let kitties out of sacks! Leave the C&R SG market to those already in the know.
