    410 mistake?

Well I bought a 410 about 7 days ago, It was more of a impulse buy. I have 3 more days until I can pick it up and Im not even excited like I usually am. Its one of those 410 rossi tuffys 1 shotter. My question is, Is it good for anything or do I just put it in the closet and maybe one day give it to my child as a first shotgun? Its one thing if the dang ammo was cheap, But thats not even the case. Home defense? One shot of 410 then use it as a bat? Thanks guys.

Good for making fond memories with your kids. I haven't shot a .410 in decades, but the most exciting time I ever had with a gun was with my dad's breach loading over/under .410 & .22lr when I was 10 years old. Thread is making me want to get one.

It's a fun toy. Take it out into the desert and play with it.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

.410s are just plain fun to shoot! Of course, on a trap or skeet field, they are know more as an expert's gun than a beginer's gun.

Fond memories with a 410, first time grandpa finally handed it to me and my brother and said go get some quail for supper. Even to this day it's one of the guns I love to take out and grab a few birds with.

As above had mentioned, the little 410 you bought is a fun gun! A snake gun. Just take it to the desert and have fun with it!! Look online for some Rio ammo in a 7 1/2 shot, those should be around $75.00 for 250 rounds. Here is a link for ya!!!

                          It's a new gun.

Go out and shoot the heck out of it.

It has just as much place in your collection (or to start your collection) as anything else.

                          Nothing wrong with 410's.

It's a horrible gun, you'll hate it. I'll give you $40 bucks for it just so you won't feel so bad
