I decide keep my Remington 1100 I placed it for sale.

I just installed breaching tool today.

It's look much better

So far I have put

3 shots extension tube and matching spring,follower.

IMO the only thing more useless than a breaching device would be not having buttstock.

The best door breaching tool is a pull of the trigger and a swift kick.

But I'm not hating, not only do the tips make the shotguns unique, they assist followup shots by weighting the barrel tip.

In most cases, since these are added to shotguns with a lot of tactical crap in the back end they can also aid in re-balancing.

Not that I am an expert or anything.

Just spitballing.

I just bought the 590-a1 and I enjoy shooting slugs when I can afford a case of them, so I might install a small lightweight red dot system, and I do have a rail for a light on the side. I also plan to figure out how to install an aftermarket pad in my speedfeed stock.

But for the most part. I'm keeping it clean.

And I'm thinking if I ever really need to get on the other side of a door, one of those one ounce slugs will probably work nicely.

The most pressure I would put on the front end of a shotgun on purpose would be an anti personnel jab (guessing the bayonet will not be fixed, but if it was, ouch) or to breech at most, a window, not a door.
