Who are the great stockmakers around today? If any. The ones that would work on Perazzis, Purdeys, etc. Any independents outside of the factory shops?

There was a good one I knew of when I was in Colorado, but for the life of me I cannot remember their name. It's possible that they are not in business anymore. If I remember, I'll post the name here.SECRET//NOFORN

I know Joe makes a lot of stocks for my friends. I've seen their work and it is good. I would ask for Joe by name to make the stock.Wanna learn to shoot SKEET? I am here to introduce all shooters to the sport of SKEET Shooting ....

Thanks guys. Keep adding to the list if you can recall others. It would be good reference for future. Some guys are using duplicating machines some-few-are hand craftsmen. My friend I relied on for all this knowledge has now passed on. He was a real encyclopedia. If only I had written down a third of what he would talk about. A former manager of Pachmayr in LA and he knew them all as well as the great gunsmiths, collectors and celebrities.Last edited by JimWest; 09-04-2011, 8:22 AM.Comment
