I like the Hogue has a nice grippy feel. If you like the forend that you have, just trim it. Take your time and do a nice job. It will be fine, and if you screw it up, so what. Its replaceable

Never thought that I can mess it up cosmetically, but its good to know. I have seen those Hogue forends, they look nice and inexpensive, I might check it out, Although, I am not sure if the Hogue forends extends the same way like the original forend, I have a longer action tube so I might have to call them to confirm.

I upgraded my stock and forend months ago, I bought a Blackhawk specops combo and the forend that came with it is already a pain to install although I like the looks and the feel, but if the Hogue feels better and will solve my problem, Ill definitely check it out.
