Just bought my first shotgun!

Haha just checking. I really enjoyed Prado! $20 all day at the pistol/rifle range. Haven't shot skeet over there but hope to pretty soon. I haven't been there since the place flooded, though. Haven't been to Raahauges cause it's pretty expensive compared to others. I don't think $30 for 2 hours of 100 yard shooting is worth it

Raahauges did get expensive. I was going every weekend for a while but then they upgraded their system of counting their clays. It used to be you just wrote stuff down on a piece of paper. Now they have the things that count it every time you push the button. So if you have a jammed loader and you push the button 4 times to get a good clay to come out, you get charge for every click. I wasn't happy the last time I shot skeet there. My normal day of 60 ish dollars ended up costing me a couple hundred. If I had known that's how I was going to be charged I wouldn't of kept clicking to get a good clay out of certian stations.

had a mossburg once about 25 years ago the trigger group shattered after about twenty rounds. Never have owned another. But good luck.

That's unfortunate. But with anything that's made in this world there are going to be defective products..

I've had my 500a for 8 years. I've put a lot of shells through it at the skeet range but never cleaned it until last weekend.. It kept going like a champ.. Though after the cleaning it feels brand new again.

Lol.. the waiting sucks.. Hate it.. However what time did you start the paper work at the pawn shop? If you started it at 4pm then you have to wait until after 4pm on Saturday before you can get it. =(


Maybe.. I can't say for sure what I'm doing that weekend or if funds will allow me to go shooting again this month. This weekend is the gun show in Ontario and I'm heading there to see if there's anything cool I can pick up for either of my 2 toys. That and I'll be crewing for a team in Fontana at the drag races over Memorial day weekend so that will take some funds away as well. =( Damnit.. I need more money and less bills

Picking up my mossberg 500 combo today at big 5. But im not gonna be able to shoot till' the 21st at simi valley with some friends...Got 200 round already and got at walmart winchester 100 shell of 2 3/4 birdshot or clay.... Goodluck and enjoy.....

Ya is that the combo that was 289? I was thinking of getting that one but after dros and taxes it would be like 250 so i figured what the hell i really liked this camo one and it came with a choke already and it fit my budget a little better. But I was definitely considering that combo first also.

Haha, thats my stunt bike thats farring less and has some stunt parts on it, my daily rider is an Suzuki SV1000S. What are you riding? Man this forum is great, finding people that are into bikes and guns just like me!!! lol cool.

ya thats what really sold me on it lol it looks a lot better in person then in the pics. Its funny because Im not really a camo guy, like on most things i dont really like camo, but when i saw this i really like it! Thanks!

I used the 100 yard rifle range there during the week for $30. but I thought that was for 4 hours. Anyway I was finished and left in less than 2 hours so I could be wrong. What I did appreciate is the guy running the rifle range spent a lot of time getting me set up and giving me advice on home defense style shooting, as well as spending time correcting some of my bad habits.

Sucks you have to wait till 3pm to pick it up.. So saturday shooting might be out.. Lytle Creek closes at 4 and I'm not sure how long Raahauges or Prado stays open. You might have to wait till Sunday the 22nd =(

I'm not sure when I'm heading to the gunshow.. I know I'm going to my buddies then heading over there beforehand..

I've never been into the stunt thing.. I can watch it, but don't want to wreck my bike. =) I have a 07 R1. Candy Apple red. I'm sure you've seen me around town.. I used to ride it everywhere. I've been being lazy a lot lately and driving me F250 around.. (That's easy to spot.. It looks like an urban assault vehicle) Lifted.. huge bumpers.. ect..

This site is pretty cool. Everyone has different preferences in firearms and for the most part even if someone wouldn't buy the same one you did they will still say that all that matters is what you like.
