The selector can be set to neutral, where it feeds no rounds, and you can rack the action and apply the safety. I don't know about the specific engineering of the safety, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that it prevents a drop-induced discharge.

Why would you need the safety when the gun hasn't been racked? Is it going to rack itself?

If the video is any proof, likely not!

you don't rise to the occasion,
you just fall back on your level of training.

Yep, I've been lurking for quite a while, but just recently decided to come out of my pink shell

The old man did pretty well for his first time out with us, I was definately impressed. He was running with us till the very end. Quite the trooper!

There are actually quite a few firearms that will not allow the safety to actuate unless the firearm is "cocked". This is actually another safety measure telling the operator that the gun is not armed and that they need to ready it before engaging. It may take a little to get used to it, but I don't see it as an issue.

Its our pleasure! Its a tough job....but someone's gotta do it We are always learning and what better way to get a feel for a rifle/shotgun/knive/backpack than to get out there and actually use it.

The single point attachment SUCKED, but it was their first attempt and I'm sure they will come up with one that works much better. I think you will be able to nail the reloads after a little practice, maybe switch the sling to the other side.....who knows....

I just want to see the Nutnfancy crew run it without the handicap of being less than fully loaded.
btw glad to see you posting on Calguns PFI dude! I love them run-n-guns.
Stay Tuned! you will see it in action with both tubes full....maybe even tossing slugs

Thanks for watching the vids, they are a blast to film.

It happened many times throughout the shoot. I'm sure Kel-Tec will address that issue, maybe a better polish on the chamber, or minute increase in the size?

The KSG is definately a sweet shotgun, and to my understanding, the reason for the 7+7+1 is to make it CA compliant no high cap mags, etc.

We still have a few more vids coming out....stay tuned for more fun, and we even break out the Saiga 12 to lay some lead

HAHA I totally wondered if you were PFI dude when we were conversing about the Saiga 12 and I saw on your sebsight that you sell some of the firearms used in the run-n-gun videos. Welcome to Calguns
