Maglock for saiga 12

A quick question, I am picking up my saiga 12 from my local dealer. It is 80% disassembled at this point so they could ship it to me without a maglock. I want to order a maglock today or tomorrow so I can get to shooting it. My issue is that I see some mag locks work with converted guns and others are for the factory examples. I plan on using this gun for abit in factory state and then converting. Is there a maglock that I can purchase that doesn't require modification to the firearm to use in both version? I plan on getting and AK builder trigger guard for this for the conversion if that helps any. Thanks!

If you install a horn's mag lock now, you can use it after the conversion. It may not be your cup of tea, but it will work in both configurations.

If you are going to install the AK builder trigger guard, do it now instead of later and you only have to buy one mag lock. If you insist on waiting, there are a few options out there. PRKArms has mag locks, Solar Tactical also has some.

Horn's Maglock from AoA are sold out right now. If you know any other source for this please let me know.

+1 on the Horns lock. I have one on mine.

I also have the AK Builder trigger guard which I plan on installing. However, it requires an additional four holes to be drilled into the receiver to mount. Just haven't got around to doing it.
