Me too! Rock on bud. The 2 barrel combo is just about the perfect first firearm. Bust clays, pheasants, bear defense, & home security all in one... I have since picked up the .50 muzzle loader barrel & 20" rifled slug barrel, Surefire, light mount, slings, ammo carriers, night sight, tactical safety .... Lego gun. Build it into what ever you need!

Got mine out of jail on Friday. Big 5 purchase here.

Now I just have to wait until the rain stops to get it out to the range.

Congrats on the new purchase. What model 500 did you get?
I picked mine up a few weeks ago and have been very happy with it.
Managed to run over 300 rds through it so far.

I have the security model, 18 in barrel with 7 in the tube and a side saddle. A few weeks ago, the police were chasing a known violent felon around my neighborhood, cars everywhere and a chopper in the air. I had my Glock on my hip...to get me to my Mossberg in the corner. Funny thing is that I have far more weapons than those and more "tacticool" too, but when the rubber hits the road, you just can't beat staggering 00-buck and 1oz slug.
