Oh yes the Remmy sisters are finally home.

Marine XCS Magnum is on the left and the Police Magnum on the right.

I definitely like the Matte finish on the Police magnum.
The Marine magnum also has a nice finish to it. It looks like they sprayed the TriNyte over the nickel.
Finish has a nice shine to it.

The VC system is fantastic. I've got it on a 20" 590 with the whole package (back bore, porting, ghost rings, the works) and it's a huge improvement. I know it's blasphemous but I took it out for some skeet and shocked many of the O/U guys with my ability to hit far out. They asked to see my ammo (std walmart remington green) as if that was the key. I think you'd be happy with it.

Recoil reduction is nice with it, but for a real soft shooter combine that with a knoxx stock. I've got the specops and it shoots like a dream.

I havent sent it out yet.
I actually shot the shotguns for the first time today and was having major hang ups. Being a new shotgun it was having hard time ejecting the rounds the first couple of boxes. But towards the end it was getting smoother and smoother. I say a couple more trips to the range then I'll send it off to Mr. Vang.

My shoulders a bit achy but man oh man. I never knew shotguns would be so much fun hahaha.

I believe he has it done local right by his shop. Im not sure but he may be getting it done be robbie at ROBAR i know they are friends. I dont think he will just refinish a gun if that is the question. I think he only does it when he does work on it that requires refinishing. The best way to find out is to call. Ask him about the Pepto Bismol Pink 870.
