Yeah I was kinda thinking the same too. As long as it isn't falling apart it's all good haha.
I added a VangComp oversized safety and hi-vis mag follower...still waiting for my tactical light clamp so I can add my TLR-1

Other than that maybe just a side shell carrier, removable sling, and some basic sights (later on)...just use the bead sights for now and not going to get to crazy tacticool if you know what I mean. I just got it primarily for HD...hence the light.

do you happen to have a picture of the vang oversized safety installed? i'm curious how they look on the mossberg 590.

i've got a mesa tactical side saddle coming and i need to find a sling setup still. waiting on LimbSaver to get back to me on which model of their recoil pads will fit the 590A1 with SpeedFeed stock.

debating if the hans vang retrofit to the VCS is in my future... it's a lot less expensive at $255 than i thought it would be.

Nice Nice! Haha, yeah no use in going tactical for HD. I've been debating over whether I should get the side shell holder or just a buttstock shell holder.

Oh yeah, if you can, please post pics of the VangComp saftey and mag follower when you get the chance. I want to see how it looks

This is the reason why I got a Remington 870. I couldn't stand the slop of the Mossberg.

Wow, I guess that VC oversized safety is a lot taller than stock. Interesting.

The hi-viz follower doesn't seem that visible or am I missing something?

Posted pics of my 590A1 with the Mesa Tactical 8-shell side saddle over here.

                Thanks!

Yes the oversized safety does sit up higher than stock. Talked with VCS to make sure I had it installed correctly and the guy said yes. They designed it to work in all types of weather conditions and/or climates. Something about the lower profile ones not working well in super cold conditions.

The hi-viz follower has a hole in the middle of it so its not at all like the stock or other hi-vis followers. It's stainless steel and fits like a glove. You can see it much better than the stock all black plastic one.
