I brought 7 novices, including my wife, and we had a blast!
The Club split our group into two units, guys and gals; each with an instructor.
The guys' instructor, Bob Sartwell, was a football coach at Cal back in the mid 60's and was lots of fun to learn from. A really genuine guy who made it a success for the novices today, and improved my more experienced shooter skills, too...
Quite a guy, with lots of great tips to share. 73 years of age and quick as a young man on the shotgun clay targets. I hope I turn out like that.
So, every one of the group hit lots of targets and did improve their shooting skills today.
My wife ( a total klutz) got 5 clay pigeons in a row! Now she wants to start going shooting pistol and rifle with me, too!
The skeptics in the group all want to do it again, after they found out that bruised shoulders are just an outdated urban myth.
My vote for the place to go in the Bay Area.
