My question is regarding the combo you see at big 5 that comes with one 18" barrel and a vented 24" i think.
Is that 18 rifled for slugs?

Rifled slugs are for smoothbores, always read the box before you shoot them through your gun. Most slugs I've seen on the market are for Cylinder or IC chokes only.
If you wanna get a rifled barrel, I see them around $140-150 on the market. The accuracy of these barrels are worth the cost of the fully rifled barrel.
I have one for my 870 and I purchased one for my New England Handi-rifle. The Handi-rifle is almost scary light with the survivor stock on it when shooting 3' slugs.AdamComment
