    Remington 1100 matched pair

I bought a Remington 1100 Skeet 28 gauge. The fella I bought it from was supposed to sell me the matching 410 but I havent heard from him in months.

Anyway, these were only offered in the early 70's and for a short time. This gun is like new, only 75 rounds fired through it (I couldnt resist)

I am thinking about selling it since the matched pair aren't going to be possible since I haven't heard back from the guy.

What do you think I should as for something like this? Would $750-$800 be about right?

Any pictures of your gun would help.
What kind of stocks are on it, trap grade, pressed checkering?
    These all make a difference.
Also what did you pay for it? If you don't mind saying.

Blue book has the pair at around $1,250 in %100 and down to $995 at 95% but my book is a few years old. There were only 5,067 match pairs manufactured and that is not many for Remington. They do not price the indvidual weapons. So by its self you would have to go by the 1100 Small Guage Skeet model which is what the 28 ga is and at 100% it would only bring $550.00. It drops to $450 at 95%. I think any weapon that has been fired is at best 95% as I don't go for that 97% or 98% mess as this is all so subjective. However, the true value of anything is what someone is will to pay for it. But you asked, I feel you are to high trying to get $750. $550 to $600 would be a starting point since you say it is like new. If you are a motivated seller then $500.

Also there is only one version of the 1100 Small Guage Skeet so features don't affect the price as every one of them is the same.

Didn't know this, or much about this release. Thanks!

Try to track down the sibling !!! I have a pair and it just ain't right to break them apart ... That said, the value would be around $600 - $700 for the 28ga. A nice pair would bring around $1500 - $1700 with patience. Prices will vary with location ...
