Yeah, BoreSnake does 99% of the cleaning with one pass...

I once read a great post a long time ago about how a shotgun is essentially a self-cleaning machine. Any large debris that may accumulate inside the barrel gets blown away by the very next round you shoot. Suffice it to say, it would be really difficult to cause a problem just from lack of cleaning.

But, having said that, not many people like to go without ever cleaning their firearms!

I have a Mossy 590A1, a Beretta autoloader, and a double-barrel O/U. For all three, I pretty much just use the BoreSnake for the barrel, big 2" cotton patches and Breakfree CLP for the actions, and Tetra gun grease for lubrication.

          Boresnake + CLP.

If you really want to get some of the crap off the choke tubes, get a dull knife and scape the plastic residue off. I haven't been able to get that stuff off with a brass brush.

Tornado brush and rod for the barrel and chamber.

Get some wad remover liquid waste thermonuclear stuff to get the plastic out.

            Punch for taking out action

Anti crap spray for the action.

Clean out mag tube with Tico tool

Lube the Benelli with the lightest gun oil you can find.

Take the Benelli bolt apart clean and douche it with light oil reassemble.

While the bolts out of the Benelli now is the time to modify the carrier to except and extra round (if it is a newer gun) and so it will load out of battery don't forget to polish the carrier rails.

Throw it back together and go wheelie the thing.

            Good luck
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.
