Remington VERSAMAX

Looks like a good gun. Finally Remington seems to be stepping up their auto loader line up. I really like the design of the gas operation. I'm in the market for a new auto loader too so this has my curiosity peaked. Sept. 1st we should be able to at least hold one.

Kind of brining this thread back to life.

some friends of mine said they wanted to take me out hutning some bird/rabbit etc. Figured this was my excuse to buy a nice shotgun. Off hand remmington came to mind and I ran across the VERSAMAX autoloader.

Im at work so i cant really read much about it... but at first sight they look nice

Can't really help since I don't own one. I do have other Remmy gas autos, mainly the 1100. I can say that I love my autos. A short read about the Versamax seems pretty good. I personally am not a fan of alloy framed shotguns. Call around and see if there are any range that you can rent this.

Remington is striking out with new models lately so I hope this one is a hit for them. Anyone buying one please let us know about it as I would rather read a comment on here then in a gun mag by a writer paid to write good stuff.
