Metal trigger housing -- it broke?
Something's odd here.
The only problems I have ever had with ANY Mossberg 500 is a broken safety switch (they should all be replaced with metal).
I had TWO 590-A1 18.5" barrels that had molten steel dribbles in the barrels.
Never had a failure to feed, fire, extract, eject, load in quite a few, and quite a few years, of shooting Mossbergs.
