Why recommend a Siaga for bird hunting and clays?

I want a Saiga 12....but not for birds or clays. It'd definately drop a boar, and if not for the stupid BB be a decent SHTF gun.

If you really want to freak people out just get a 410 barrel for your AR and take it to the skeet range.

I am actively looking for a rifle length forearm one. Mark's armory has the carbine ones but it just doesnt look right with that long barrel.

Better yet, practice your butt off with a .410 & take it to a skeet range. Swmbo can consistently kill skeet doubles with a Winchester model 42, I'm lucky to kill 4 or 5 singles in a round with the same gun. The jerks who make snide "little lady" comments before the round stfu before the second station.

Seems it would be a rather expensive investment just to get a few jollies from it...why would it be so important to upset the "heavies" in the first place, I can get a good laugh just watching some of them self-congratulate themselves and that don't cost nothin more than time...

I want one to begin with, and its just a fun thing to shoot it at matches. I like to shoot different guns when they are not registered. Its just sounded fun do something out of the ordinary !!!

I shoot clays with my S12s. It works for me. I'm more comfortable with the AK platform than any other gun. I would be comfortable hunting birds with them as well.

saiga-12 are just really really cool looking in that "bad-@ss" kinda way, from a purly aesthetic point of view.

but in my personal belief, if you're gonna hunt anything u need to use a bow-and-arrow. levels the playing field a bit. no guts, no glory
