JD... you stepped forward and offered to assist as needed. That's doing something for sure. You also answered many of my questions gladly via e-mail. You even steered me toward a solution for my 870 which didn't involve the sale of any of your products. That all makes you a good guy in my book!

The clowns in government, "LAW MAKERS", act as if just passing ever more laws will improve our lives. Government and laws have come to the point of diminishing our quality of life in America. It's time we shrink government intrusion into our lives, not expand it.

STATE'S RIGHTS RULE and should be INVIOLATE.

What happens so often with guns, or anything we are working on, is you get stumped. Laying it down and walking away is a good thing. Come back later and you look right at the project and see the problem. It also is a good way to prevent projects from smashing into walls.
Good advice, so often the solution to a tough nut is to take a break. I'm reminded of wilderness first aid... once you can verify the person is stable, you can then usually take the time to sit back and assess your options, calmly.
Making guns illegal is as stupid as making drugs or prostitution illegal.

Finally, I went back to the firearm that I'd been frustrated with and almost immediately saw the problem and fixed it right away.

Since then, if I'm ever confused about something whenever I have a firearm apart, I just lay it down and walk away. Rarely do I not quickly figure out the problem once I return.

        sounds like real life....

Another important lesson I've learned when trying to put things back together again is that if something doesn't quite want to go, more force is rarely the solution... usually something isn't quite right that needs to be set right first! Fortunately, I learned this lesson as a young man which has kept me from breaking a lot of things over the course of a lifetime.

I was on the fence for a reason to purchase another shotgun barrel. J.D. just gave me the reason and he is getting my business.

it's always nice though, when you put something back together and you have extra parts you didn't know you had.
