Anyways, I like pistol more but I have been in two close calls and I found that shotgun is better for my home.

Hmm.... this thread is very interesting. I have a single shot and a sxs shotgun. I would take a S12 any day with a mag lock over the two I have if I had to deal with someone. I can double tap the guy with the S12 before he blinks and have 8 more rds ready to go. I mean the S12 IMHO is one of the best shotguns out there we can legally get.
Also if you are shooting a "mob" and you say having a S12 will cause you to waste your rounds? Maybe pull the trigger once then that will equal one shot. When ready pull trigger again for second shot. It's not a magic weapon that will automatic go full auto because you are in front of a mob.

Yes unfortunately we cannot have detachable mag semi auto shotguns in California. So the maglock makes it a fixed magazine semi auto, allowing us to have the cool Saiga 12.
