Remington 870 Home Defense AMMO??

I saw this on their website stating that it's the best ammo for home defense. Is this a marketing trick or are they really that good? They're kind of priced pretty high.

Yeah that's what I thought. Anyone know a brand that has 00 buckshot low recoil with flight wad in a black shell case? The red shells on my side saddle is like a bullseye.

I use Fiocchi low-recoil 00 buck. Shell cases are transparent/clear too.

I know that many don't like the expensive exotic rounds and I have plenty of 00 buck as well but after I watched a video put out by the DOJ on exotic ammo and it's effectiveness on ballistic gelatin I decided to buy a package of Boleros and and package of Devastators.

Buy Winchester Law Enforcement low recoil 00 buck. If your that anal about the the color, take a big sharpie to the hull.

Remington "Managed Recoil" 00 Buck is low recoil and has a dark green look to it. If you're that worried about it, keep in mind that all of your shells are gonna have a big honking brass rim on them. The Managed Recoil 00 is known for having really tight groups. It's good stuff. I always keep many many boxes of it handy for home defense.

In general, I would say it's never a bad idea to use what LE uses. There is a lot of other stuff out there that is supposedly cutting edge or innovative but if it was that great, law enforcement would be using it. Their ammunition needs to end fights and that is what it does. That's just what I think.

Another vote for Winchester LE low recoil 00 buck. Or Federal low recoil 00 buck, model LE-132-00. Stuff patterns really tight and the recoil is very low.

i got 12 GA. mag 00 hornady tap FPD loaded in my 870.....a tad pricey though

So either the winchester, remington, fiocci or federal. I'm leaning towards the federal le-132-00 right now beacuse of this federal ballistic testing website. http://le.atk.com/pdf/Shotshell_Data_Book.pdf really hard to find though... where can i find the Federal LE 132 00 ? (00 buckshot low recoil w/ flight control for law enforcement)

Are the winchester low recoil called the rangers? if so is it brass plated steel or full brace? My rem 870 has been been jamming due to cheap rounds.. that's the last thing i want in an HD situation. thanks in advance.
