I gotta try the knoxx system, I saw guys shooting it before but it didn't look like it took 80% of the recoil away. Anyone around sactown/ Fresno area wanna let me try their knoxx? I will provide ammo. Hehe

Blackhawk Knoxx SpecOps stock with a limbsaver on the end of it will make your recoil fears go away. if you still complain about it, you should just work on running away cuz even a handgun will put out more recoil then this combo.
Please read my OP again. I am the opposite of recoil sensitive. I use full power 3" 00 buckshot & 2 3/4 slugs during 3 gun matches without a problem. I was looking for ammo suggestions for my wife who does not care for recoil or a lot of NOISE. My question about the Knoxx stock is about how much it will change my sight picture, as I currently see quite a bit of the top of the barrel when shooting a stock 870.

I just realized that I have been very rude by not adding any visual stimulation for my fellow CGers. Here's a pic of my current set up. As of right now the only thing I'd like to add is a Surefire on a barrel mount. The Surefire fore end hangs a little low for my taste.

I'm very happy with this setup so far as it is very compact and fast handling for a 20" pump.
"As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun, therefore, be the constant companion to your walks." -- Thomas Jefferson

Here's a listing of stuff from Midway:

I think you'd be better off installing a Limbsaver pad and having her double up on hearing protection, though.
