    HD, SG mounts

Looking for a secure quick-access mount for my SG. Can't leave it laying around because of kids/friends etc... What to do?

I was thinking about one of those cop car vertical mounts and screwing that into the closet wall. Still locked and safe but faster to get to then the big safe, still secure... and the good to grab if you had to retreat into the closet..??

Anyone ever do this or know any better tricks? locked gun cases seem to slow and easy to steal.

Have you looked at V-Line wall mounted stuff?

Cannon used to make an in-wall rifle safe but unfortunately appear to have discontinued it.

      Santa Cruz Gun Lock

I mounted this in my bedroom closet (above the door). Very secure, quick and easy to remove.

They make all kinds of SG Mounts.

Santa Cruz Gunlocks offers a wide range of modular weapon mounting systems in an effort to provide solutions to real world weapon retention needs.

The Cuff type lock prevents racking (look at the picture). Plus, you can have a remote electric lock button or use the key to get the SG.

looks like it can still op the charging handle on a SEMI auto though. Still, a great solution. Think i'll get one on order. Shoudl fit nicely behind the tie rack

No, the oversize on (not the universal) goes around the entire action area of an AR (look in a cop car).\
I am goung to do this as well (already have the locks), just have not gotten around to it yet...
