Shotgun for 3 Gun

If you go with a Saiga 12, I believe that will land you in the Open division.
2 great shotguns used are Benellis & Remingtons.

I personally use a HK-Benelli M1 Super 90

Um, the better question is what rifle do you use for 3-gun? Anything I want to shoot requires either a bullet button or no pistol grip

You're mistaken if you think that having no pistol grip holds you back.
If you want to shoot the bullet button, there is a dedicated class for those shooters at some matches.

Ran my saiga 12 with solar tactical bullet button and magazine tools at a local match and got 2nd. It had a 2 failures to feed but was the 2nd time I had shot it. Overall I like the s-12. Reloads are just as fast by knocking out the old mag with a fresh mag. On small courses of fire not a big advantage and a good shooter with tube fed shotgun can plan their reloads out .
