Bright Blue or Parkerized finish for 870 barrel?

I think I am getting a Vangcomp VCS 870 barrel. I want to figure out whether I should get the bright blue or the parkerized finish, and which one is better.

What's the difference??

Parkerized is a more durable finish, retains oil very well.

If stepping up to a primo Vangcomp, perhaps consider putting a wunderfinish on the shotgun afterwards? I have an old Wilson/Scattergun 870 with the Armortuff finish and I love it, such a "no fuss" gun. It's almost 10 yrs old, been through matches & training classes, and still looks great with minimal maintenance needs.

Looks like a great deal, you will like it! Just a note, the photo shows it with a blade front sight setup, the sales web page says the special price barrel has a bead front sight.

It pops right in! Fits perfectly....
