Whats that trick with the ejected hulls called?

The answer is, there is no answer. It's not a trick, and it doesn't have a name. It's just a cool looking way of getting your empty "shoty" shells into the "empty shoty shells bucket".

Ever see someone fire both barrels, miss both clay pigeons, knock the hulls into the trash can (as previously described here) and then suck down the wafting barrel smoke through their nostrils?

To answer the OP, no there is no name for it, its just for show and its throwing the hulls in the recycling. I'm sure you've already gotten that though.

To add a proper tangent to this thread, it's like guys in IPSC type matches. When you unload and show clear after shooting a stage, lots of guys rack the last live round out of the chamber up in the air and then catch it. I like doing this, once you've done it for a while you get used to how your pistol ejects the round and it's easy. Much better than dropping the round on the deck and having to dig it out of the dirt. When you see guys doing this, pretty tell tale sign they shoot a lot of competition!

I do! I never say anything really constructive or even anything about firearms in general. But, look! I now have one more post! Seriously, although Eckolaker was not really thinking when he made his post, at least most of his previous posts are relevant to this forum. We do have other members who make all (or most) of their posts in the off topic forum and really don't contribute a thing to Calguns other than take up bandwidth. Just buy a gun with 'auto ejectors' not 'extractors'
You'll get it down after about 200-300 rounds.
You're hand will literally be about an inch from the hulls at first, but you can gradually move further back as you get more used to it.

It does look cool and I do it... When I don't look like pro 'hitting' the targets the least I can do is look like one when I unload my empty hulls.

WARNING:
Do not try this at home, do not try this with snap caps.

DO wear safety glasses and DO NOT try to look at the fired hull after you break open your gun- You WILL get a hull launched at your head/face/eye at a surprising high rate of speed!!
