im looking to pick up 1000 rounds of some cheap 2 3/4" 00 , so far the best pricing ive found is cheaper than dirt on S&B 9 pellet is $130 shupped on a case of 250 and ammunition to go for $140 a case of fiocci. please post up if you know where i can get it for less.

I've done the math before on this. If you want 1,000 buckshot rounds. Turns out, that is it cheaper to just buy a reloading press, powder, primers, wads, and the shot. Than to purchase factory ammunition. You saves so much money that the press is free. Every other shell after that is money still in your pocket and you own the physical press so you are not just ****ting money away.

you still gotta buy the hulls or reuse the ones you buy retail dont you? how does this add up in your equation?

Enjoy the ...unique S&B odor. They historically have used horse hair or something simular as their wadding. I always knew when a student was shooting S&B...it smells like burnt hair. But hey, I don't care what it smells like, it works, it hits hard and it spreads fast. Get the 12 pellet stuff and get more bang for your buck.

you will burn through alot of time.. but some days when your wasting your life away watching tv it's a nice alternative to go out and make your own custom stuff..
