Looking into getting a Shotgun for HD and such and I have heard this name once or twice amongst the din of Rem/Moss.

Anybody know anything about these. Seem like alot of gun for the money.

I have one, and it has not disappointed for one round.
I left it stock and just added a sling. It's sights are spot on at 50 meters with slugs. It's pretty hefty with the metal feeling really solid. Trigger group is metal and the ghost ring sights kick arse!!
The price left me smitten as well......$199 advertised are u kidding???

Though it's advertised as a having a cylinder bore choke while mine is exactly the same but in the manual states it has an improved cylinder choke.

The current production 982 comes with an improved cylinder barrel (unless they changed it in the last few months, I think Bud's has in incorrectly listed as cylinder bore meaning no constriction), it is not threaded to accept other chokes.

I have not looked at the barrel bore to see if it's a traditional IC barrel with a portion of the barrel that opens up then constricts or if it's more like the Vang barrels where the OD of the bore slightly tapers from breach to muzzle.
