Of course, this is not AK -its more along the lines of an AR, but there are some California compliant detachable box 12 gauges.

Theres a few different models, this one I found first in a quick search:

For the most part, theyre going to be either Turkish or Filipino guns.

I decided to buy an IWI TS12 instead.

Which, coincidentally, does have some Turkish design in it?s history, but it?s not made there. IWI Took an existing design and perfected it.

My first one was a dud, but IWI took care of me quickly and sent me a brand new gun.

So far it has performed flawlessly with not even any break in jams.

I also went ahead and added an M&P 12 to my collection after weighing the options on a bullpup pump action shotgun. I wanted a DP12 at first, but it's way too hard to field strip for cleaning and the CA version only holds 10 rounds total because both tubes are always accessible. The KSG was certainly a consideration and a great gun. After looking at the many comparisons out there I landed on the M&P12, I haven't taken it to the range yet but I'm looking forward to it. Now I need to find some minishells

Congratulations, hope you enjoy it! Def 100% needs a good sling, I have a Vickers Tactical on mine.
